This past weekend, four (one not pictured) dedicated cadets from Evolution Taekwondo Peterborough took part in the prestigious British National Olympic and Para-Olympic Taekwondo Academy Development Camp. The event was an intense five-hour training session designed to push young athletes to their limits and elevate their skills to the next level.
Held at a national level and attended by around 100 cadets from across the UK, the camp offered a rare and valuable opportunity for our students to train alongside some of the best up-and-coming talent in British tae kwon do. Participants were fully kitted out for the duration, engaging in a grueling regimen of drills, technical refinement, and tactical instruction.
The day culminated in an hour-and-a-half-long sparring session, where our Peterborough martial arts athletes put their training into practice under the watchful eyes of Olympic-level coaches. It was an intense but rewarding experience, allowing our students to test themselves against top competitors from all over the country.
